Southeast Specialty is a part of General Insulation Company, which is a distributor of commercial and industrial insulations, fire stop products and accessories. The parent company provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. It serves mechanical, insulation and sheet metal contractors, as well as utility plants and plumbing supply houses. General Insulation Company, also known as GIC, has more than 30 branch locations throughout Canada and the United States. It sells products from various manufacturers, such as Knauf Insulation, 3M, Nomaco, Venture Tape, ITW Insulation Systems, Owens Corning, and RPR Products. Founded in 1927, the company also maintains warehouses.
