Of course, there's a Hollister in sun-loving Sarasota. Located at the Westfield Sarasota Square Mall, Hollister is a spin-off company of Abercrombie & Fitch that caters to dudes and bettys (that's guys and girls, to you) between the ages of 14 and 18.
The brand cultivates a strong Southern California image with its self-branded line of laid-back casual clothing and surfer-themed stores. The store sells tops, jeans, pants, dresses, jackets and coats, underwear, swimwear and gear like belts, hats, jewelry and CDs. Hollister produces a new signature cologne every year. For girls, there are body creams, sprays and lip gloss.
The store's signature design intrigues shoppers by concealing the interior from the mall. There are separate entrances for dudes and bettys; however, both sides merge at the central cash register/customer service area and the changing rooms are coed.
Hollister, by the way, is the last name of a fictional adventurer elaborately created as the company's "founder."
