Lang Asset Management started in 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia by Julie Kirkpatrick and her father Robert Lang. Robert retired in 2017, and at that time Julie moved the business to Indialantic, Florida. Formerly Vice President with another asset management firm, Julie also worked for a major brokerage firm and investment consulting company. Julie is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance. She has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) and Certified Financial Planning designations.

Our business is dedicated to the preservation of your capital while providing attractive returns. Regardless of the investment chosen, all accounts are individually managed allowing for customization and transparency. We offer three investment products with each providing different levels of risk. Our most conservative approach is titled Enhanced Premium Income Fixed Investment, and invests solely in AAA and AA bonds, either Corporate or Municipal, maturing within 5 to 6 years. These high quality, short-maturity bonds help eliminate the risk of price declines associated with rising interest rates and default risk due to their superb credit quality. Our Balanced Investment is a mixture of the high-quality bonds discussed above and a predetermined percentage of well-diversified, high-quality stocks. The Smart Bear Balanced Investment is for the more aggressive investor, with 85% of the portfolio invested in the same high-quality bonds with an additional 15% investment in stocks that perform well in a declining equity market. Each portfolio offers diversification, liquidity, and complete transparency, without lock-up periods or burdensome fees.
