I became a psychiatrist because I want to help those who want to be helped. I am a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist who is dual board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I'm interested in assisting a wide variety of symptoms and challenges, including mood, anxiety, psychotic, ADHD and other disorders. I believe in a symptom-based approach for treatment that involves a comprehensive medical and psychiatric formulation. I utilize evidence-based practices and include various holistic and natural approaches, that may involve psychotherapy or psychiatric medications. I have extensive training in a variety of modalities, having worked in numerous settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency and community treatment for all age groups. In addition, I have extensive professional experience with multiple national medical organizations and worked for physician & patient advocacy.
