SpecialtiesLakeside Lutheran Preschool has provided 30 years of quality preschool education to the community. For the past nine years, we've served families in our new, secure facility at 2401 Tamiami Trail South in Venice on the church campus. Our Preschool staff is dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and happy learning environment for children. Our mission is to stimulate and encourage all children in physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Lakeside Lutheran's curriculum of choice is the Creative Curriculum, which identifies goals in four areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, language. From the way the classroom is organized, to the use of select toys and materials, the planning of the daily schedule, and the way our teaching team talks to the children, we seek to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give children a successful start in school.
