Sharon Guttman, AuD, is a pediatric audiologist who diagnoses and treats children with hearing issues. She specializes in children who have issues communicating, such as children under three or children with autism or sensory disorders. Her practice includes hearing tests and evaluations with all-new equipment designed especially for children. Because small children struggle to follow instructions as called for in adult hearing tests, pediatric audiology equipment incorporates kid-friendly sounds and images that help determine the most accurate diagnosis and course of treatment for a child. Dr. Guttmann has more than 20 years of experience in audiology, both in the school and healthcare setting. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
