Founded in 2003, The Florida Center for Child and Family Development is a nationally accredited nonprofit, community-based agency. It provides various programs and services for the development of young children, families and the community. The agency offers community outreach, childhood education and developmental therapy programs. It offers support services in cases related to financial difficulties, grief, substance abuse and divorce. The agency additionally provides family counseling, behavioral support, diagnosis, children welfare, case management, adoption, consulting, and speech, occupational and physical therapy services. It operates a fatal alcohol diagnostic and intervention clinic. The Florida Center for Child and Family Development maintains one of its locations in Sarasota, Fla.
