The company designs and manufactures cruising sail and power yachts. It has a network of sail and power dealers located throughout the United States and Europe. The Island Packet Yachts Ship's Store offers online ordering for a variety of items designed to enhance IP ownership experience including logo apparel, equipment upgrades, gift items and service parts for both Island Packet and Packet Craft yachts. The Island Packet 420 received the award for 'Best Full Size Cruiser' in the 2000 Boat Of The Year competition, as conducted by Cruising World magazine.
