The World Children s Center offers both short- and long-term homes to homeless, orphaned and neglected children in Smyna, Ga. Its collaborative and integrated management system provides community-based support to help children and youth. It consists of public and private venues that assist in the well-being of children living at the center, as well as surrounding communities and abroad. Its private venues include a prekindergarten through twelfth grade school, pediatric wellness center, parks and playgrounds, food and clothing distribution training center, international humanitarian development center, worship center and more than 100 homes. It provides safeguard services within the homes through security systems, safety inspections, injury prevention programs and neighborhood awareness programs.
