Calvary Baptist is located in a residential neighborhood near downtown Acworth, off of Main Street. The church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Georgia Baptist Convention and the Noonday Baptist Convention. The church emphasizes community among its members via Sunday worship services and midweek small group meetings that take place in members' homes. Calvary has specific ministries set up for children, youth and adults and also is a distribution point for Angel Food Ministries, which provides food at a reduced cost to those in financial need.
