Established in 1961 by an Act of the General Assembly of the state of Georgia, Henry County Water & Sewerage Authority is an organization, responsible for the complete acquisition, construction and maintenance of the various water sales and supply projects. The organization has at least one member from all the commission districts in the county and hence performs several significant operations. Some of the main services it provides include managing the raw water sources, water treatment, drinking water storage, and distribution and capital improvements. It also promotes several community development activities like recreational and educational events. Henry County Water & Sewerage Authority is an EPA WaterSense partner.
