LaGrange Academy is an independent school that serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school, located in LaGrange, Ga., offers a variety of academic, extracurricular and athletic programs. It includes lower, middle and upper schools and provides advanced placement courses in chemistry, calculus, literature, history, and English language and composition. Founded in 1970, the school also offers classes in math, science, art, physical education, music, drama, Latin and Spanish. It provides several sports activities, including volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball and baseball. LaGrange Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also a member of the Georgia Independent School Association and the National Independent School Association.
