In 1965 Joe Prince realized that the Georgia industrial marketplace was in need of a contractor that could provide fabricated metal products and mechanical millwright services. In response to this need, Prince Sheet Metal Works was formed. With the addition of production facilities, Prince expanded its manufacturing capabilities to meet the specific needs of its customers. Production personnel were trained and new equipment was added. In January 1999, in order to better describe the diversity of services available to its customers, the company took on the new name of Prince Service & Mfg. The company s trade knowledge and experience include millwrights, sheet metal mechanics, fabricators, welders, machinists, pipe fitters, master plumbers, heavy equipment operators, carpenters and painters. Its services include plant maintenance, material handling systems, specialty fabrication, process piping, construction services, ventilation and architectural metal work. Prince Service & Mfg is headquartered in Macon, Ga.
