HistoryDr. Lund is a board certified family medicine physician with a strong interest in comprehensive health care for the entire family. Before opening Trade Winds Family Medicine in August 2009, Dr. Lund worked in a variety of health care settings including private practice in Honolulu and training residency staff at Tripler Army Medical Center's Family Medicine residency program. Dr. Lund completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers College and then went on to osteopathic medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school she moved to Hawaii in 1997 where she completed her Family Medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center. She earned her flight surgeon wings, and went on to service the military community at Schofield Barracks for two years. She then returned to Tripler to join the residency staff and taught residents, interns, and medical students for 3 years, while enjoying a busy family medicine practice herself.
