Brooklawn Country Club was founded in 1895 as a private golf club and one of the oldest golf courses in New England. Brooklawn offers its members an array of programs including tennis, bowling, paddle tennis and swimming. It has an Olympic-sized swimming pool and diving facility with an interconnected snack bar and children s play area. The tennis facility includes seven courts with a viewing area. It offers formal and informal dining facilities for its members and their guests. It also offers special interest activities such as the ladies bridge group and the historical committee that works to gather and preserve items such as pictures, trophies, medals and golf clubs. The clubhouse has its own bowling alley used for regular league play and as space for parties. Brooklawn Country Club is in Fairfield, Conn.
