In recent years company was incorporated, but we are still that same small company and our goal is still the same, - customer satisfaction is our number one priority. DeckDoc is a cleaning, restoration and maintenance company that services homeowners and businesses throughout Chicago land area including but not limited to Northbrook, Riverwoods, Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Highland Park, Chicago etc. We work on a wide variety of exterior surfaces including deck staining and sealing, wood fences staining and sealing, siding staining also concrete driveways, brick walls and many more. When it comes to outdoor wooden structures such as deck, homeowners can either choose painting or staining. Each method comes with its own merits, but before homeowners decide to choose one method over the other they should know the maintenance involved in each. Using the right exterior paint can protect your wooden structures for sometime. Therefore, you may not need another painting job until after 2 to 5 years. Staining is quickly becoming the preferred alternative to wood painting and there is a good reason for that. Unlike paint which can start to flake or chip, staining offers maximum protection and will last for a long time. Also, while painting job may not bring out the natural beauty of your wooden structures, staining will add beauty, elegance and long lasting protection. The other appropriate option for wood preservation is sealing. It has different base but still very functional for wooden structures. Sealing is mostly used to protect the wood from moisture without hiding its natural outlook.
