Double D Express is a family-owned company that specializes in transportation and logistic warehouse services. It provides less-than-truckload (LTL), truckload and expedited services to a wide service area. In addition, the company offers warehouse, logistics and distribution services. All orders are handled at Double D s corporate office in Peru, Ill. The company s location provides access to Interstate 80 and Interstate 39 to serve the Chicagoland area and surrounding Midwest locations. Gary Dahl and Jean Devera opened Double D Express in 1985. It began as a small company with only three drivers and one office employee, but Double D has grown into a major transportation service with 425,000 square feet of warehouse space.
