HistoryI opened my first one chair Barber Shop in Ottawa in 1982.Mary's Shear Experience. I expanded and moved into a larger space about 4 blocks south. In that salon I wanted to work from stage and mentor to others in our industry.I had the opportunity to work in salons and stages all over the US.It was very fulfilling but the travel became tiresome.. After 16 years of fulfilling that dream I went on to expand again and offer my city a Salon and Spa. That is when Mary Renee Salon and Spa was established and I went on 14 years of mentoring to stylist locally.
