History
Since he was a young boy Stanley Fulmer always liked working on engines or anything mechanical growing up on a farm in Ohio. Stanley had a passion for helping people and after leaving a job at the Marquette Cement quarry in Oglesby, IL he opened up Fulmer's Standard Service providing quality automotive repair and 24 hour towing. His son Terry grew up in the station and learned at a young age how rewarding it is to help people, so after graduating High School from L-P he opened up a Standard station of his own at the north end of Peru (our current location) on route 251 just south of I-80 and continues to provide quality service to interstate travelers and the great people of the Illinois Valley.
