Gear Docs was the dream of Mike Kathan, a 15 year veteran, who in Early 2012 made it into a reality. Mike always believed that there was a need for a company that focused solely on Servicing the Entertainment Lighting Industry. Instead of a rental or production company that also offers service. Gear Docs has but one focus, repairing gear and getting back to our clients in a quick and cost effective manor. Gear Docs has it's own facility in the West Suburbs with a group of Certified Technician waiting to serve you.

That means our Certified Technicians have no other focus but getting our clients gear back to them in a cost effective and timely manner. Our technicians can diagnose and repair many different types of lighting equipment. Such as moving and LED lights, dimmers, fog and haze machines, special F/X units, scrollers, and consoles.
