HistoryI have been working in the field of mental health for the past 16 years. I began my work in a residential setting working with children and teens who had severe behavioral health issues. I went on to specialize in trauma based services for victims of crime working closely with law enforcement. I have provided individual, couples and family counseling. Recently, I launched my own practice to continue my work with the goal of helping others experience post traumatic growth. In addition to helping clients address stress, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, and various types of trauma, I am especially compassionate about providing specialized counseling for first responders and their families.SpecialtiesI provide professional mental health and wellness services to adults and teens. I treat a variety of common mental health issues such as chronic stress, depression and anxiety. I specialize in trauma services as a EMDR trained therapist. As a Certified First Responder Counselor, I provide support and counseling to law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers and front line healthcare providers and their families.
