Acquired in 1974, the large, centrally located natural area offers a ball field, a football field, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, pathways, picnic areas, picnic shelter (permit required) and a playground. Concessions are served during games. Portable restrooms are available April 1 to October 31. The Vogt Woods Recreation building, built in 1977, houses programs and is available for rent.
