The Developmental Services Center, also known as DSC, is a nonprofit organization that serves developmentally disabled individuals in Champaign and Ford counties in Illinois. Founded in 1972, it is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is licensed by the State of Illinois. The Developmental Services Center serves individuals with epilepsy, cerebral palsy and autism. The organization offers residential and developmental training services. It serves more than 900 individuals annually. The organization s packaging and assembling operations include inspection and shrink-wrapping. It operates an over 95,000-square-foot production facility. The Developmental Services Center provides a vocational training and employment program that includes independent living skills development services.
