Founded in 1983, Reading In Motion is a nonprofit art center that offers participation in music and drama to kindergarten through third grade students. The center provides teachings in phonemic and songs. It also offers information on story s characters, settings, props and drawings. Reading In Motion s supplemental educational program offers three hours per week of instructions to children in grades one through three. The center organizes group activities and reading competitions. It offers a child learning model and serves Rachel Carson Elementary, John F. Eberhart Elementary, Frederick Funston Elementary, Sharon Christa McAuliffe, Joseph Medill Elementary and William P. Nixon schools. Reading In Motion is located in Chicago.
