Village of Maywood, established in 1881, offers police and fire protection, water, sewer and garbage collection services to its residents. Its public works department offers a wide range of services, such as collection and disposal of leaves, street and alley maintenance, snow removal and ice control, collecting and chipping brushes, sweeping streets, roadway sign maintenance and pavement striping.
