30 years ago, I enjoyed fixing things around the house with my dad. I learned quite a bit about repairing just about everything that broke or needed maintenance around our home. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, that I bought my first fixer upper house when I was 18. I was a bit too detail oriented for the house flipping business, though. What I did gain from those years, was valuable experience. Now I realize that I wasn't too detail oriented... I was simply in the wrong business. Since then, I've worked on my own rental properties, and worked as a maintenance technician for several years. I've always took pride in my work, and realize that my name is always on the work I leave behind.
