Marsh Supermarkets was founded in 1931 with a single store in Muncie, Ind. Headquartered in Indianapolis, the company went public in 1953. It operates stores under several names, such as Marsh Supermarkets, LoBill Foods, O Malia s Food Markets and Floral Fashions. Marsh Supermarkets offers a range of bakery, deli, meat, seafood, fresh produce, floral and gift items. Its stores have walk-in clinics that offer immunization services and screenings for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart diseases. It also operates stores that provide specialized services in catering, coffee roasting, business cafeteria management and vending. Marsh Supermarkets has more than 13,000 employees and maintains a location in Muncie, Ind.
