New Horizons Rehabilitation Service is a nonprofit community rehabilitation facility. Founded in 1968, the organization provides training and services to adults with mental and physical disabilities, and to infants from birth through age 3 with developmental delays and conditions of risk, which could result in a developmental delay. The organization is accredited by the Children at Risk Foundation and it is a member agency of the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities and the United Fund of Dearborn County. New Horizons Rehabilitation Service offers a wide range of services, such as nutrition, assistive technology, health, nursing, diagnostic medical and psychological services. The organization also provides services through the Medicaid Waiver, which is a federal and state medical assistance program.
