The 900 Block of West 9th Street boasts an impressive home built by Peter Müller in 1867. Now this impressive structure houses Traditional Arts Today, a non-profit preserving the traditional arts. Established in 2018, the shop features work from over 100 regional artists. The mission of Traditional Arts Today is to increase appreciation for unique and practical hand-crafted items by connecting artists and their creations with the community. Without appreciation for these techniques in our fast-paced, mass-production world, and a space for the members of the community to learn and develop traditional arts skills, this integral part of our history will be lost.
