History
Tredway Pools Plus was founded in 1976 by A. John Tredway. In 1980, Tredway Pools Plus rented its first retail store. In 1994 Tredway Pools Plus constructed a new 3,000 sq ft. store. Through the years we have evolved into a full service pool and spa company with a growing emphasis on the retailing of backyard related and home leisure items, all the while maintaining our pool construction interest. In August 2000, A. John Tredway decided to explore new opportunities unrelated to the pool industry, and sold the business to its current owner, John Denny. In April of 2010 Tredway Pools Plus expanded to southwest Ft. Wayne. Opening a seasonal store in Covington Plaza. This store is open 6 days a week from April 1st to September 30th of each year. We share this retail location with the Ski Pole. The Ski Pole occupies the space through the winter. Throughout the winter the Ski Pole continues to sell spa and pool related item for us. We maintain a small display space throughout the winter.
