History
The Spencer Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1890. Spencer was among the first cities in the nation to use the Chamber of Commerce bureau plan. Since that time the Chamber has followed its charter promoting civic, economic, industrial, and agricultural development. The Spencer Chamber serves as the nucleus to the City of Spencer. Area residents and visitors look to the Chamber for recommendations and referrals. We often introduce new programs to benefit the community and our members while at the same time maintaining our proven traditional events and campaigns.
