Wichita Children's Home, founded in 1888, is a charitable institution and an orphanage that supports and provides care for destitute and homeless children. The organization offers emergency and temporary residential center for children in Sedgwick County, Mo. It provides care for victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect, as well as runaways, children facing family crisis and children who may be at risk in their homes. Its BRIDGES is a three-phase transitional living program for adolescents aged from 16 to 21 years who have no safe living environment with family or relatives available to them.
