The Lindsborg Fire Department works to protect the lives, property and environment from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. The department responds to more than 75 calls annually. Its services include hazardous material response, fire prevention, business inspections, and search and rescue. The Lindsborg Fire Department works with a team of over 20 staff members. The Lindsborg Fire Department provides various after-fire safety tips and emergency transportation services, as well as supports several outreach programs. It maintains a fleet of trucks and tankers. The department is operated by the city of Lindsborg, Kan., which additionally manages parks and recreational, utilities and police departments.
