Pennyrile Resource Conservation Development Area, Inc. is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of quilting and agriculture in Western Kentucky. Through the Kentucky Quilt Line Trail, visitors can explore the scenic byways of nine counties, including Crittenden, Livingston, Lyon, Caldwell, Trigg, Christian, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, and Todd, and admire the beautiful quilt block murals adorning barns and buildings along the route.
The Quilt Line Project not only showcases the artistry of quilting but also raises awareness about the importance of trees in the urban landscape. As the trail continues to expand, visitors can look forward to discovering new murals and experiencing the cultural and natural beauty of the Pennyrile area along highways 68, 80, 91, and 62.
