History
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Master's degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from Louisiana State University, and I completed courses in post-graduate studies at Southeastern Louisiana University, Louisiana State University, and Loyola University, including training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). Before I was a counselor, I worked in the field of victim services for 15 years, serving as a professional victim advocate in five different states and speaking on a local and national level about the effects of sexual violence. I completed my internship in a university counseling center and have worked in agency and group private practice settings. I opened my solo practice in 2020. I practice with an anti-discrimination, anti-oppression, and anti-racist orientation, and I care about how your personal experiences have influenced your view of yourself, of others, and of the world.
Specialties
