Oceanside Builders LLC was started in 2003 by Eric Smith. Eric has 27+ years of experience in the residential construction industry. Prior to construction, Eric's background includes * B.S. in Marine Biology * FCC licensed to work on aircraft radio & navigation equipment * an intense interest in energy efficiency and innovation since my high school days * Boy Scouts of America - Eagle Scout * Happily married with 3 children Eric's philosophy is to treat your customers and their property the way he would expect to be treated. He believes in being honest and straight forward and communicating frequently. Enjoy your work and it is not like work at all!

Oceanside Builders is founded on the idea that quality built structures are usually cheaper to own and operate in the long run if built using sound building science and engineering practices. Since we do most of our work on the coast of Maine we have learned how to execute the details that will survive the elements, and ensure leak-free windows, doors, roofs and foundations just to name a few. We are current on all environmentally friendly building materials and would love to work with you on creating an energy-efficient home. Some of the processes we have worked with include ICF foundations, solar and geothermal installations . We pride ourselves in creating unique and innovative structures. We are happy to assist you with a remodeling project, property management or build you a home you will love.
