Burgess Advertising and Associates, founded in 1986, is a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations agency in Portland, Maine. In 1991, the company acquired Maine Media, an agency with a strong background in public relations and business-to-business advertising. Burgess has one of the largest in-house media-buying departments in the state. It is the only agency in Maine that subscribes to STRATA, which evaluates the performance and efficiency of all media buys. It creates advertisements for all mediums, from radio and television to printed page and the Internet.
