We started as a rug/violin shop & cafe selling really good coffee and soup in Damariscotta village. About 10 years ago we moved out to Rt. 1 Newcastle, a stone's throw south of Damariscotta, and focussed our business on rugs and music.
Specialties
Call us to set up an appointment if coming from a distance or to schedule a visit outside our usual hours. We sell quality handmade contemporary and traditional rugs for home, cottage or office--responsibly sourced oriental rugs made with handspun naturally dyed wool. We are also a music shop with a great selection of guitars, ukuleles and violins--servicing the midcoast Maine traditional music community.
