Established in 1974, Magothy River Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school provides education in language arts, science, mathematics and social studies. It also organizes special education programs and conducts classes in technology and family and consumer science. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, including physical education, music and art. In addition, it operates various clubs, such as yearbook, drama, photography, art, French, media, band and nature. Its counseling division provides career and educational guidance.
