The Bowie Christian School is located down the street from Benjamin Tasker Middle School on Kenhill Drive, inside the Church of Christ. In the late 1960s, the school was started as a play day program, eventually growing into a school facilitating children from preschool to eighth grade. With a teacher to student ratio of 10:1, the school is able to provide very individualized attention to the students.
