Absolute Title & Escrow, LLC was established in 2004, as an independent, full-service Settlement Company and title agency by its founder, Karen L. Day. A former economist, Karen has worked in several capacities within the real estate and title industry since 1994. Karen L. Day was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1995 and is a Virginia licensed title agent in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Karen took her B.A. degree in Economics from Mary Washington College and her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law. The law firm, Karen L. Day, PLC, serves as counsel to Absolute Title & Escrow, and prepares the legal documents affecting the transfer of title, including General and Special Powers of Attorney, Deeds, Notes, Deeds of Trust and Releases for residential and commercial real estate transactions. Ms. Day's practice areas include all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, general and corporate business matters and transactions, as well as trust and estate planning.
