Framingham Public Schools offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The district enrolls more than 8,000 students in over 10 elementary, middle and high schools. Located in Framingham, Mass., it has various departments, such as bilingual, English as a second language and sheltered English programs, curriculum resource, and family support services departments. Framingham Public Schools provides gifted and talented programming, office of guidance, social work and psychology, and office of minority achievement. It also has reading recovery, school health services and special education departments. The district provides various programs, including accelerated and advanced placement courses in biology, chemistry, English, foreign language, mathematics, physics, and social studies.
