Newark America is a division of the Newark Group that is one of the largest open-market sellers of recycled paperboard throughout North America. The group is comprised of more than 10 mills throughout the United States. The Newark Group produces more than 1 million tons of 100 percent recycled paperboard each year. The group provides specialty folding and laminating grades of paperboard for consumer product packaging, which includes clay-coated board. The Newark Group also produces high-strength grades that are used for tube and core products, as well as for industrial packaging. The group also collects, recycles and supplies a stream of recycled raw materials to the milling division. Newark America maintains its headquarters in Fitchburg, Mass.
