Allied Printing was founded as a commercial offset printer, but the company has diversified its capabilities to provide a more expansive offering of services that include digital and offset print production, information management, mailing services, warehousing, fulfillment and program management. It also offers high-end variable print production, which was made possible by the company s acquisition of the Xerox DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production press. Founded in 1952, Allied Printing has grown into an employer of approximately 75 people at four locations in Ferndale, Mich. From 1999 to 2001, Allied Printing was recognized by American Printer Magazine and the National Association of Printers and Lithographers as one of the 50 fastest-growing printers in the United States.
