Founded in 1996, Natural Freedom is a nonprofit organization that advocates for individuals with disabilities. It works with the department of human services, supports coordination agencies and private care consumers. The organization serves more than 400 disabled and elderly consumers. Natural Freedom has partnerships with several local and national insurance companies. It provides a variety of nursing, personal care, community living support, and respite and behavioral care services. The organization employs over 300 direct care workers, home health aides, nurses and behavioral trainers. Natural Freedom owns and operates nearly 20 semi-independent living homes and apartments. It offers assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
