Southfield City Budget Department oversees the implementation of fiscal services, office management and budget reporting solutions in the state of Michigan. Open Monday through Friday, the department comprises accounting, assessing, purchasing, technology applications and central services divisions. Located in Southfield, Mich., it maintains internal staff support, and provides support services to other city departments. The department s accounting division performs all financial record keeping and reporting functions, daily operations, biweekly payroll services, accounts payable and budget monitoring, and annual audit work.
