A unique arts and dance studio with an uplifting approach to the fine arts and self-development opened its doors for the first time last fall in the Wayzata Home Center. Creo Arts & Dance Conservatory is the culmination of years of dreaming and planning for local dance instructor, Christa Anderson-Hill, who desires to bring together the collaborative passions of artists of all ages and disciplines to come create and learn together in a community of grace, composure, creativity, personal growth and exuberant joy. In addition to art’s collaboration classes and workshops, Anderson-Hill will also offer classes that will teach artists to express their Christian Faith. “I want to challenge young Christian artists to strive for excellence in their art,” said Anderson-Hill, “we are created in excellence, we should process and produce our gifts and talents in excellence as well.”
Creo’s philosophy is performance rather than competition-based. The studio values excellence over perfection, process over product, and teamwork toward a common goal. Creo offers a variety of classes including Liturgical dance, ballet, hip-hop, watercolor painting and creative movement. Creo is conveniently located just off I-394 at 1250 Wayzata Blvd E in the Wayzata Home Center.
