Our guiding philosophy is simple: to put ourselves in our patients' shoes-to treat our patients as we would like to be treated. We further believe that compassion and caring are critically important in children's health care, and that they are entirely compatible with sound scientific approaches. Our team believes in treating the whole child, educating for wellness and managing illness. South Lake Pediatrics has a long tradition of abiding by this philosophy. We opened our first clinic in Minnetonka in 1974, Eden Prairie and St. Louis Park in 1980, Plymouth in 1993, Children's West in 1998, Maple Grove in 2000 and Chaska in 2011.
