At Woodpark Montessori Child Care we use the Montessori approach from infancy through preschool. We aim to help children lay a foundation in order to help themselves for the rest of his life. The aim of the Montessori Method is to assist the child to develop totally and fully. When a child, especially between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 years old is exposed to the scientific materials in our prepared environment, it brings out their full potential. Our students are given the freedom to choose and proceed at their own pace which is a significant part of the Montessori Method. By doing this the child begins to like what they do and not just doing what they like. They are able to feel an inner feeling of success.
