B'nai Shalom is a contemporary conservative synagogue serving the community of West Orange, N.J. and surrounding communities. B nai is a traditional and an egalitarian congregation that strives to fulfill the spiritual needs of its members and to inspire a growing knowledge, understanding and practice of living Judaism. B'nai Shalom is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. B'nai Shalom offers a range of educational, religious and social programs for its members and the community. It also offers adult education programs, social events, a men's club and sisterhood, four youth groups for various aged children and a senior group. B'nai Shalom offers a number of membership plans for families with and without children, for singles and for seniors. It organizes periodic Shabbat services for the developmentally disabled. The B'nai Shalom nursery school and religious school offer Jewish education from preschool through high school. The B'nai Shalom nursery school introduces preschoolers to Jewish holidays and traditions through fun, games, arts and crafts.
